Kali Uchis, represented by Geffen Records, is gaining international acclaim. This multitalented performer, proficient in various music genres and fluent in both English and Spanish, has recently soared in popularity. Following her successful second album, ORQUÍDEAS, Uchis has released a new hit single, "Igual Que un Ángel" featuring Peso Pluma. This track has rapidly climbed the charts, reaching #3 on Apple Music and breaking into Spotify's global Top 10.

Following her 2023 R&B-infused album, Red Moon in Venus, which debuted in the Top 5 and received extensive praise including Time magazine's #1 Album of the Year, Uchis returns to her roots with ORQUÍDEAS, an all-Spanish album. This approach echoes her earlier success with the 2022 album Sin Miedo (Del Amor y Otros Demonios), which featured the viral hit “Telepatía.” This song, a sensation on TikTok, has amassed over a billion streams on Spotify and maintained a significant presence in music charts, marking it as the most enduring Spanish-language song by a solo artist this decade. Sin Miedo also earned a Grammy nomination for Best Música Urbana Album.

Uchis' global reach has been enhanced by the collaborative efforts of IGA's offices in Los Angeles and Miami, under John Janick's guidance. The synergy between Tom March's leadership at Geffen and the Latin division managed by Nir Seroussi has been pivotal. Born in the United States as Karly Marina Loaiza, Uchis' stage name, a nickname from her family, was given by her Colombian father. Her fan base, affectionately known as “Kuchis,” continues to grow. As for the name of HITS fans, that remains a topic of playful speculation.
