Justice, the renowned French electronic music duo consisting of Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, is set to unveil their latest studio album, titled ‘Hyperdrama’. This eagerly awaited fourth album is scheduled for release on April 26th, under the Ed Banger Records and Because Music labels. Accompanying this announcement, the duo has released two tracks from the upcoming album – ‘One Night/All Night (featuring Tame Impala)’ and ‘Generator’.

The track ‘One Night/All Night’ is highlighted as a key element of the album by the duo. It features a unique blend of techno and disco, as described by the artists themselves. This song was initially hinted at on Justice's social media platforms. Along with the track, a music video has been released, produced by Phantasm and directed by Anton Tammi.

The second track, ‘Generator’, is characterized by the band as a fusion of ‘Getaway’ by the Salsoul Orchestra with elements of gabber and classic 90s techno. Justice is known for their unique blend of disco funk and electronic music, and ‘Generator’ is a testament to this signature style, showcasing a dynamic tension between these genres.

Anton Tammi, who has previously worked with The Weeknd on ‘After Hours’, also designed the artwork for ‘Hyperdrama’. Tammi's concept for the music video and album art was to create a visually immersive experience that complements Justice's sound, likening it to a journey within the iconic cross symbol associated with the band.

‘Hyperdrama’ represents the duo's fourth studio venture and their first album release since ‘Woman’ in 2016. In the interim, Gaspard Augé released a solo album in 2021, but no new music from Justice was forthcoming until now.

The announcement of the duo ending their five-year break was made in June 2023 by Pedro Winter, the founder of Ed Banger Records, also known as Busy P. He expressed great enthusiasm for the new album, comparing his excitement to when he first heard Justice's groundbreaking debut, ‘Cross’.

During their hiatus, Justice celebrated their 15-year career with a series of re-releases, including a deluxe edition of ‘†’, their debut album, and new vinyl editions of their 2008 live album ‘A Cross the Universe’, and ‘Planisphere’, originally released for a Dior soundtrack.

Justice has recently been confirmed as a headline act at this year's Coachella festival, which will feature the premiere of their new live show. This festival appearance is part of a series of scheduled performances for the band in the coming year, with additional dates expected to be announced.

‘Hyperdrama’ is available for pre-order and will be released on April 26th. Fans can listen to ‘One Night/All Night’ and ‘Generator’ in anticipation of the full album.
